This woodblock print celebrates the historical fishery in my city of Lambertville, NJ. I created 6 one-of-kind prints, each with slightly different schemes.

A portion of each sale (10%) will be donated to the local Jim Hamilton Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to area students who are pursuing a degree in art.

the process:
This series was created using traditional printmaking processes. After drawing my design, I carve the image into wood. Ink is rolled onto the surface of the block, and the reverse image is transferred to paper. Multiple blocks were layered to create the final picture, resulting in a small series of one of a kind prints.
